Day 58 - Prince George, B.C.
We woke up to a sunny day in Smithers, B.C.; what a great omen for our last day together on this caravan. The road was smooth and lined, and the sun was shining in an almost cloudless sky.
We just had to stop at Houston, B.C. to see the world's largest flyrod. Houston advertises itself as the "Steelhead Fishing Capital of the World".
The drive today was a little more taxing on some of the drivers. Jerry Fox seems to be enjoying his little nap. At 5:15 PM we boarded a bus to take us to the restaurant at the Coast Hotel in Prince George, B.C.
Bobby and Ronnie must have been bad boys because they had to sit in the back seat of the bus. It was not a long drive and we arrived at the hotel safe and sound. Many of us stayed outside and chatted until Phil Schaaf came and directed us inside.
Once inside, some of our members did not waste any time getting to the bar. This and the next four pictures are of all our members seated at their tables.
After we ate, we all stayed around to chat and say our goodbyes.
More chatting and reminiscing about the trip and where we are going next.

This is the last time we will see all these coaches together in one location.

It has been a wonderful trip. Many thanks to all the members and to Phil and Sue Schaaf our Wagon Masters and to Spence and Madi Schaaf our Tail Gunners for making the trip so delightful. We all came together like a big family and it was always fun to get together in the evening and relive the day's adventures.

I would highly recommend Adventure Caravans to anyone considering taking an RV caravan to any of the many locations where they offer trips.
